In effect i feel that this classical music magazine does not follow convention, it is trying to break the norm if you will. I admire the fact that this magazine is trying to associate classical with a new, more youthful look to attract a younger target audience. In this image, i also think that it links to Richard Dyer's theory of "A star is an image, not a real person, that is constructed", this is because you hardly know the performers identity yet he is portrayed i western clothes, which has no reference to the classical in any way.
