Minimalistic and clusterred magazine analysis

These two magazines are contrast each other significantly this is the reason of there target audiences which are completely different; top of the pops aims at girly teens usually 8-15, whereas sound-breeze could be aimed at an older target market because of the look of the model (hair, makeup, clothes etc). The cluttered look of the top of the pops is definitely aimed at younger people. Whereas sound-breeze's much simplistic look portrays its target market of which is much older than that of the top of the pops. For my magazine I would really like have an overall minimalistic look, as this would appeal much more to my target audience. I feel that the front cover of sound breeze wouldn't be ideal for my audience because I feel that it may be to plain and simplistic. On the other hand i don't want my magazine to be cluttered as it would distract my reader from my main focal image.
