From all of the font types that I have observed, I feel that my three
favourites are "American typewriter", "lucida fax" and finally "times new roman". I like the first font
because it is quite sleek and very direct. Some of the fonts
that are sleek are too difficult to read but I quite like this
one. I really like "Lucida Fax" as Its similar to the ones used in classical
magazines already- because of this it is quite conventional as well as
the fact that it connotes quality. I also quite like the "times new roman" letter as a font itself because it is not appropriate for my magazine and i feel it would affiliate with my target audience.
Overall though, I feel that I should further ask my target market which fonts
they feel would suit the masthead of my magazine front cover, the font needs to suit my entire target market
and appeal to all of them. By making a quick questionnaire i could easily distinguish what would be a hit or a miss.
