Creative ideas update post

For the classical music magazine's, I have found so far that most of the magazines follow convention, whether it is to do with the actual layout of the magazine or the position of the masthead itself. However, for myself personally, i particularly liked the magazines that were less cluttered and had an effect on its image rather than pointless cover stories that had little to no meaning. Whether it was in the image itself or the masthead, I would ideally like to create an effect like this within my magazine, such as a contrasting image with lighting split on the face of my model holding an instrument.
