This covers my basic analysis of the features in the "Q" magazine, i created this on photoshop to explore the features of the front cover and explain it by text. I believe that audience are being challenged by this magazine because of its signs and connotations of the text. This magazine in my opinion portrays a very stereo-typical image with a dramatical pose. The magazine front cover is represented in a negative way mainly because of her pose in this long shot. The lighting on the photo is somewhat sinister in the way the there is no contrasting shadows are shown. The genre of the magazine would suggest pop-rock with its intended colour scheme.The representation are targeted at young adults 16-21, mainly because of the cover stories illustrated on the magazine. Overall i feel that Q's front cover is a challenging one, this is because we are in a post modernistic society and we enjoy thinking about what we are seeing.
