Other publishers - WIRE

This is the wire magazine it aims at Indie magazines in contrast to my classical music magazine. The company itself is not part of an institution, this shows its success as its is publishing from its own accord rather than using an institution.

The Wire Magazine Website itself is also sleek and plain in appearance, this displays quality as the plain and sleek appearance also suggests that it is a modern magazine. The Websites home page itself also has persuasive features such as the free CD for new subscribers this could tempt potential new customers into subscribing to the magazine. Also the difference in size compared to the new CD image and others makes it stand out much more on the background, having a bigger effect to the reader.

You can also contact the magazine through its address and email information, i believe that there is no Facebook or twitter contact details connotes that the magazine is aimed at a much older target audience as it tends to be younger people who use Facebook or twitter. This could be improved by wire in order to attract a much younger target audience.

The Wire Magazine also features a listen now aspect, in which users can listen to different artists that have been published in previous or are going to be featured in future magazines. The use of this means that different people can look at different artists and give there thoughts on them. I personally feel that because the artists from this were not widely known, which could suggest the quality of the magazine. A magazine like Q will have universal artists that connotes its quality to the reader.
I believe that the wire magazine in comparison with the Rhinegold publisher is very similar, they both attempt to connote quality in there magazines. The appearance of both magazines websites are ultimately sleek and professional, but they both aim at different target audience's because of there genre of music.
