Creativity and reflection

M research into the conventions and themes in classical music went really well, I enjoyed looking into different magazines and styles as it gave me a better idea of a layout to follow and what sort of images and texts to use. I have now decided that I want to keep the text on my front cover fairly minimalistic but my masthead to be attract direct attention. I thought this because of the effect it had on other magazines, it connoted quality and made it look more sleek and professional as a magazine. From doing my magazine analysis, I have used a couple of new programmes; I used slide share which I found simple after i became used to the software mainly because of its simple basis. I also used Prezi, which I really enjoyed because of the depth of detail i could go into with the vast amount of features i could use. I have also found out that I would like to experiment with shadows and backgrounds to create more unique and interesting images to go against convention, while I need to make sure that it still represents the classical target audience and doesn't completely defy it so it becomes unrecognizable as classical.
